Dan Cunningham is at it again

For those of you who know the name "Dan Cunningham" this is going to make you shake your head. For those of you who don't know his reputation, Dan ran several moving labor broker websites. Reports from very trusted sources are that he owes many moving labor services money for jobs performed and billed but never paid.

Here are a few of the websites that he formerly ran into the ground...

MovingStaffers.com
MovingLaborServices.com
iSelfMove.com

Well he has started another website and moving service broker. We received the email below from a concerned reader this morning...

Agents/Providers, Our site is continuing to grow every single day – We have implemented a few updates/changes listed below that will further enhance our account and consumer user interface: • We will have AGENTS in each major market that will get first shot at all of our work, Please contact our operations department if you’d like to become an Agent for www.themoversreview.com and/or www.buildmymove.com (877) 389-5490 • Picture & Documentation Uploads are mandatory for every work order or job booked through our system. We will be collecting the minimum due to you up front and that payment will be released immediately upon uploading your signed work order/bill of ladings and pictures. Once pictures and work orders have been uploaded and you change the status of the job to (Completed – Mover Completed and Uploaded) Our operations team will verify uploads and send to accounting - Payment from our accounting will be cut and sent to you within 24hrs 2. Moving Labor - You are assigned a flat rate loading fee of $606 – We will again collect the first two hours up front $157 due to you – The remaining balance will be collected by your team on site from the customer = $449 – Once pictures and work orders have been uploaded and you change the status of the job to (Completed – Mover Completed and Uploaded) Our operations team will verify uploads and send to accounting - Payment from our accounting will be cut and sent to you within 24hrs 3. Haulers – We will hold $100 of each transportation job until the signed bill of lading is uploaded at the end of each job. You will collect the remainder of the balance before the truck is unloaded at destination. UPDATE* We recently have signed many new corporate account contracts that will funnel moves to us and through our national system. Some of those accounts are listed below, we will continue to push our unique model and close more of these deals in the coming weeks. Hundreds of moves are being booked monthly; we’d like to see thousands: • www.ziprealty.comwww.moving.comwww.homebulletin.netwww.apartmentfinder.comwww.realestatebook.comwww.unclebobs.comwww.realestate.com We thank you for being part of our team and look forward to bringing you more work in the very near future. Regards, Handy MarketPlace, LLC Team of companies www.buildmymove.comwww.themoversreview.com

If you can read through that mess of a 3rd grade email lacking any coherent sentence structure and paragraphs, you will see once again that you have to send in an invoice and wait to get paid. Does the moving labor companies believe that Dan has suddenly found a way to insure you will get paid? Or will you be another one of the companies that state he owes them thousands of dollars in unpaid invoices?

This guy is an internet scammer and only gives the professional mover a black eye. I can't beleive big companies such as Landstar would associate with him. I sent one of my crews out to one of Dan's jobs a few years ago, nothing was what it was supposed to be. Unreal but idiots usually prevail when it comes to scamming.

I worked first hand with Dan Cunningham. And yes, he is a one of a kind scammer. I just stumbled upon another site, www.buildmymove.com which is registered under his name. Buyer beware...

It's amazing to me how so many can bag on someone trying to better themselves and what better way to do it than experiencing failure. I personally worked for Dan for a month and also his BMM company and I found the concept is still completely untapped and slightly disorganized but they are a growing company and is currently putting all the pieces together to drum up one of the greatest on line tools of the future. I may not be happy with the company or handling of certain issues however as far as Dan is concerned let the man live the dream and maybe you need his service down the line.
