Police seek suspect after man, 19, killed in Mississauga stabbing

MISSISSAUGA, Ont. – Peel Regional Police are seeking a suspect in a fatal stabbing that left a 19-year-old man dead.Police were called to a home on Harrowsmith Drive just after 2 p.m. Saturday and found Hamza Lamadani, 19, unconscious and suffering from stabbing wounds. He was rushed to a local hospital, but died of his injuries.Police say an altercation had take place earlier on Webb Drive in Mississauga. Story continues below

Mississauga resident Mohamed Nasr is now being sought on a charge of first degree murder. He is described as a middle-eastern male, 5’10 feet tall, with a medium build and last seen wearing a dark grey hooded shirt. He is considered armed and dangerous and anyone with knowledge of his whereabouts should contact police.Investigators are also seeking any witnesses who were in the area of Webb Drive at the time of the stabbing.Anyone with information on this case is asked to call investigators at the Homicide and Missing Persons Bureau at (905) 453-2121, ext. 3205.
