Calgary Police make an arrest in liquor store robbery

CALGARY – Police said one suspect is in custody and another person was being questioned in connection with a robbery in the southwest area of the city Saturday.The robbery happened just before 2 a.m. at a liquor store in the 9000 Block of MacLeod Trail.Investigators said a man struck the clerk in the head with a bottle, before fleeing the scene with bottles of alcohol.They say no cash was stolen.The liquor store clerk suffered non life-threatening injuries.
