Mogul Rupert Murdoch wife Jerry Hall Media

The high-profile couple, who have been dating since last summer, were married during a civil ceremony at Spencer House in London on Friday, a rep for Spencer House confirms to PEOPLE.

They were photographed emerging with smiles from Spencer House, which was built in the 18th century by ancestors of the late Princess Diana.
While the 59-year-old Hall was long linked with Rolling Stones frontman Jagger – the couple had four kids – the marriage to the Austalian-born billionaire was her first.
The couple has been together for less than a year, and were first seen in public in October at Twickenham Stadium during the Rugby World Cup.
He told his 750,000 Twitter followers: “No more tweets for ten days or ever!”
Murdoch and Hall will hold a private ceremony of celebration on Saturday at St Bride’s Church on Fleet Street, which proclaims itself the “spiritual home of the media”.
Hall wore a collarless white coat over a blue dress, and black patent leather Roger Vivier buckle flats.
A native of Melbourne, Australia, Murdoch divorced his third wife, Wendi Deng, in 2013 after 14 years, saying their marriage had been irretrievably broken.
Sporting matching platinum wedding rings (and in Miss Hall’s case, a £2.8 million marquise cut diamond engagement ring), they walked hand in hand to a waiting auto which took them to the Mayfair restaurant Scott’s for a wedding breakfast with their witnesses. They even participated in a private wedding ceremony in Bali in 1990, though the marriage was later declared invalid.
The delighted couple kept news of their engagement among their close friends and family for weeks before sharing their happy news in the births, marriages and deaths section of the Times newspaper the morning after the Golden Globes. He has six kids from his three previous unions.
“Feel like the luckiest AND happiest man in world”, Rupert tweeted on March 4 after making his relationship with Jerry legal.
