Hillary Clinton, Bernie Sanders say they can beat Donald Trump

The candidates will go head to head Tuesday in the MI primary.

During a discussion on the auto industry, Clinton started to interject while Sanders was speaking. The Senate measure ultimately failed and President George W. Bush approved more than $13 billion in federal aid to the automakers.
While the auto bailout is popular in MI, the Wall Street bailout is still very unpopular with voters there and nationwide, even though USA taxpayers made a profit on that bailout.
Mr. Sanders said Sunday he would “love” to run against Trump, as he should: According to the same CNN poll, Sanders beats Trump in the popular election by 12 points.
The forum quickly turned into a heated philosophical argument about an economy that Sanders said is weighted against the middle and working classes and is abetted, he said, by close ties between politicians, such as Clinton, and Wall Street financiers.
And when Clinton tried to interrupt the senator, he said “Excuse me, I’m talking!“. But the former Secretary of State faces challenges attracting younger voters to her coalition, and Sanders has won among people under the age of 30 by significant margins.
Mr Sanders was sarcastic in his assessment of Ms Clinton’s recent shift in expressing doubts about a new 12-country Pacific trade deal negotiated recently by Mr Obama.
“I kind of think if you get paid a couple hundred thousand dollars for a speech, it must be a great speech”, Sanders said.
She also argued that the United States and allies saw more turmoil in “leaving a dictator in place” like Russian Federation has done with Syrian leader Bashar al Assad.
In the race for the Democratic nomination, Clinton has at least 1,123 delegates to Sanders’ 484, including superdelegates – members of Congress, governors and party officials who can support the candidate of their choice.
“When you are white, you don’t know what it’s like to be living in a ghetto”, he said. And in southern states where Clinton has posted big wins, Sanders has garnered enough support to secure scores of delegates. “If they recall Rick Snyder, then they wouldn’t have Rick Snyder to kick around anymore”, Livengood says.
“We have to play the game the way they’re playing the game”, Trump said in an interview on CBS Sunday, one day after he told an audience in Florida that he would fight to expand and broaden the laws that regulate interrogation.
