The 45-year-old singer and actress has just recently resigned with record label Epic and is looking forward to the change as she believes it will be a “great starting point again”.
“We should be putting something out real soon”, Jennifer confessed to the site of new music earlier this month, where she also revealed that she’s been hard at work “on music for the past couple months”. Multiple reports say that the ageless diva has left Capitol Records to reunite with longtime friend and Epic’s chairman/CEO L.A. Reid. Epic CEO LA Reid confirmed the news, writing, “Here we go!” After more than a year away from making music, J. Lo promises she’s back.
Jennifer’s last studio record was her eighth studio album, 2014’s “A.K.A”, which was released on Captiol.
Watch J. Lo talk her new music with Entertainment Tonight below. “Jennifer and L.A. are longtime friends, and they love working together”, the source added.
Lopez released six of her albums through Epic records during her successful career. “Jennifer is a true global icon with a magnetism that sears across music, film, and TV and I’m excited to be working together again”, Reid tells Billboard.
