Petr Cech out for three to four weeks

Arsenal’s preparations for the match were hit by the news Petr Cech faces up to four weeks out with a calf injury, but Seaman is hopeful David Ospina can prove an able replacement. “He will not play on Saturday as well”.

On Koscielny, he added: “He has a calf problem as well”.
Wenger admitted Arsenal had surrendered the right to consider their first Premier League title since 2004, and must now quickly move on from Wednesday night’s defeat to the Swans. But after the dismal midweek home defeat against Swansea that came on the heels of a disappointing loss to Manchester United, winning against the mighty-looking Spurs can prove to be challenging for Arsenal.
Cech was at fault for Swansea’s victor as he missed a whipped-in free kick that was bundled in by the visitors’ captain Ashley Williams.
“The two shots on target they had in the whole game were the two goals”. It was a very disappointing result. We have to respond to that.
“Not always a good footballer and good on the ball, he might not be the greatest of players, but [someone who] can get his team-mates playing around him and demand more of the players around him”. Analyse it well and bounce back.
Arsene Wenger insists Arsenal’s fans did not make a “major statement” with their angry reaction to Wednesday’s defeat to Swansea and believes his players are ready to bounce back against title rivals Tottenham.
“Every point or three points we get now on is massive – we are going out to win games as we should be doing but even if we win Saturday we know it is not job done”.
“At the moment we don’t dream, we are realistic”.
Wenger accepted Coquelin’s dismissal was deserved, but the Arsenal boss was critical of referee Michael Oliver for not issuing a second yellow card to Eric Dier when the Tottenham midfielder pulled back Olivier Giroud during the closing stages.
“Campbell has not played for a while and he started to tire”, the Frenchman said.
“Yes, I think they have character, of course they have character”, he said.
But, “The fans will be behind us, I am not anxious about that”.
“We are questioned so they should be questioned as well”.
“I don’t see that (a lack of belief)”.
“We will not talk about titles tonight”. I’m not in the mood to do that.
Sanchez is one of the biggest disappointments of Arsenal’s fading season as he has struggled for form, scoring just once since January after coming back from a hamstring injury.
