Sylvester Stallone rumoured to appear in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2

The geek Internet went a little insane yesterday at the revelation that Sylvester Stallone is probably-but-not-quite-definitely set to appear in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. While Stallone’s involvement in the Marvel film is yet confirmed, a photo of him exiting a hotel in Atlanta has surfaced. It is believed Stallone was on his way to Pinewood Studio in Georgia to film. He was then spotted getting on a vehicle commonly allotted for Chris Pratt, who plays lead character Star-Lord/Peter Quill in the movie. In this film, he and the fans will finally learn who the character’s father is in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. However, most people assume Kurt Russell already snagged that part and a source for the Daily News says Stallone’s role is just a cameo.

‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2” is scheduled to hit theaters on April 25, 2017.
New cast members include Pom Klementieff ( “Oldboy” ), Elizabeth Debicki ( “The Great Gatsby”, “Everest” ), Chris Sullivan ( “The Knick“, “The Drop” ) and Kurt Russell ( “The Hateful Eight”, “Furious 7″ ).
If the rumours are true, Stallone will join original crew Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Vin Diesel, Karen Gillan, Michael Rooker, Sean Gunn, Glenn Close, and Bradley Cooper as the voice of Rocket.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2” director James Gunn is keeping details of the film unknown, but he continuously treats his followers a glimpse of what is happening on the set.
