Wenger puts faith in Ospina

Arsenal are heading into one of their most important clashes of the 2015/16 Premier League campaign without one of their most experienced players and number one goalkeeper Petr Cech, but Arsene Wenger is confident that his replacement David Ospina is fully capable of holding the fort and filling in for the Czech Republic worldwide in goal.

He will also play no part in the Champions League second leg against Barcelona and the FA Cup replay against Hull.
Arsenal are trying to win a first league title since 2004. “To go out on to the pitch feeling that we are already winning 1-0″.
Wenger in his press conference before the North London Derby on Saturday also revealed that defender Laurent Koscielny will miss the game with a “small injury”.
“We had a bad result; luckily everyone around us got beat so we didn’t lose too much ground”.
The same happened with Alexis Sanchez earlier in the season when Wenger played him against Norwich despite knowing of a hamstring problem which then flared up in the game and ruled him out for the festive period.
The Foxes were held to a 2-2 draw at home by West Bromwich Albion last night so we have the chance to move to within three points of the top with victory this evening.
Wenger, however, trusts the Colombian completely, saying “I have complete confidence in Ospina, I don’t worry about that”.
“At the moment we don’t dream, we have to be realistic and come back to what we do well”.
“Sometimes we lack this hunger to believe that we can be champions…”
Arsenal twice came close through Sanchez before goalkeeper Petr Cech missed a cross and Swansea captain Ashley Williams bundled the ball in with 16 minutes to go. Let that digest a bit everyone, when Ozil is the first player I think of when I think of Arsenal players scoring goals, isn’t that just a huge problem?
“I don’t think he’ll be available on Tuesday but next Saturday he should be alright”. “We have a strong squad here and everyone is desperate to do their part to help the team get points”, he said.
